Carpooling

Carpool privileges allow registered carpool groups to park in D lot during the restricted parking hours of 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Every car registered MUST have a UConn Health Center parking permit sticker (blue, red or yellow). If you have a sticker, please bring this number along with your license plate number and current UConn Health Center ID badge when signing up for carpool privileges. If you do not have a UConn Health Center parking permit you will need to register your vehicle(s) before you can obtain carpool privileges.

Each registered carpool group gets one hangtag and one gate key, which allows access to D lot. A designated primary carpool permit holder is responsible for maintaining current information (carpool members, plate numbers, etc.) on file in Public Safety. Please decide this prior to coming to Public Safety, LG041.

Carpool groups must have their hangtag and gate key to be allowed into D lot. No exceptions will be made for those who forget their hangtags.

There is a $5.00 fee to replace a lost hangtag, and a $10.00 fee for a lost gate key. The primary carpool permit holder must request the replacement.

Any abuse or violations of the UConn Health Center parking regulations will result in the revocation of all parking privileges for the group.
