Parking Information
All employees, students, vendors and contractors are required
to register their motor vehicles with the Department of Public
Safety and to display the permit at all times. Certain
designated parking areas are restricted for patients, visitors
or for employees, who pay for convenience parking. Parking
regulations are enforced by the UConn Health Center Police
Department.
Fines range from $30.00 to $150.00. After 14 days, a $5.00 fee
is assessed on all unpaid tickets. There is an appeal process
for parking violations. You may file an appeal within 14 days or
pay your fine.
Delinquency for nonpayment involving parking violations can
result in the offending motor vehicle being booted while on
campus. All subsequent fines and penalties, along with a $50.00
fee must be paid before the offending motor vehicle is released.
As the UConn Health Center campus continues to grow there
will be changes to the parking rules and regulations. Public
Safety will keep you advised of changes to the parking rules and
regulations through broadcast message emails and
Bioscience Connecticut. It is your responsibility to know and
obey the parking rules and regulations here at the Health
Center.
