Parking Information

All employees, students, vendors and contractors are required to register their motor vehicles with the Department of Public Safety (DPS) and to display the permit at all times. Certain designated parking areas are restricted for patients, visitors or for employees, who pay for convenience parking. Parking regulations are enforced by the UConn Health Center Police Department.

Fines range from $15.00 to $50.00. Unpaid fines double after 14 days and quadruple after 21 days. There is also an appeal process for parking violations. You may file an appeal or pay your fine.

Delinquency for non payment involving parking violations can result in the offending motor vehicle being booted, while on campus. All subsequent fines and penalties, along with a $50.00 fee must be paid, before the offending motor vehicle is released.

As the UConn Health Center campus continues to grow there will be changes to the parking rules and regulations. The Public Safety department will keep you advised of changes in the parking rules and regulations through broadcast emails and through the Public Safety website. It is your responsibility to know and obey the parking rules and regulations here at the Health Center.
